eTwinning Projects! Worth a try!
Working on eTwinning projects has opened a whole new door to teaching young learners English.
Students have the opportunity to interact with fellow students from other countries (mostly European) and cooperate through the mutual exchange of information in order to accomplish a common goal.
The benefits from this interaction far outweigh the possible difficulties that may arise such as
- lack of technical support or
- slow internet connection.
After completing two eTwinning projects with my students within a year, I strongly suggest that every teacher should give it a try and see his/her pupils transform into confident, independent little detectives always on the search for more knowledge!
So go ahead and have fun with English in the classroom!
