The Peiramatistas workshops are a proposal from the field of non-formal education designed to offer the joy of discovery and creativity within school life. The main purpose of the workshops is:
• The initiation of children into the process of experimental investigation of natural phenomena.
• The experiential approach to knowledge about the world that surrounds us.
• The expression of imagination and the exercise of children’s creativity on the occasion of natural phenomena of everyday life.
The Peiramatistas workshops complement and enrich the school’s learning environment and function either as a reason or as a conclusion of an educational process in everyday school life. They include simple experiments with everyday materials, smart toys and constructions. The workshop process is participatory, collaborative and intensely experiential. It concerns STEAM sciences (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) and combines experiments, constructions, games.
