At the end of our etwinning project, we received the last postcards from Recica, Croatia and the students tried to read the cursive English (καλλιγραφικά) that the Croatian students wrote in. What a nice challenge for our reading skills!
We also show you the flag and map that the project asked us to create. We researched the colors of the flag of our partner country. 
Italy and Greece- Biella and Ptolemaida!

Our D2 class had a video meeting with our etwinning partners from Biella, Italy. Everybody wrote a riddle about an animal, a food or an object. we also had a couple of jokes shared! We took turns asking in English, showing our riddle and guessing the answers, and it was a lot of fun! These are the penpals we have been sending our letters to these past months and we ended by promising to continue our friendship next September!

4th primary school of Ptolemaida, Greece and O.S. Vladimir Nazor of Pisarovina, Croatia, have come to their final part of the project “All about us in 5th grade” we have sung the carols to each other, showed our schools and our cities to each other, studied our flags and country maps, cooked traditional food in our homes on video, and now we are sending postcards by land post office showing some of the beautiful landmarks of each countries.

Our multilingual dictionary
We translated a few words in Greek and our partners translated the same words in their own languages. Our dictionary is ready, and we will learn a few words in many languages!
Να συστηθώ.
Ονομάζομαι Ευαγγελία και με φωνάζουν Ίβα. Διδάσκω Αγγλικά στο 4ο δημοτικό Σχολείο Πτολεμαϊδας και μου αρέσει να βοηθάω τους μαθητές και τις μαθήτριες να εκφράζονται στην γλώσσα που διδάσκονται. Παίζουμε παιχνίδια, κάνουμε εργασίες (εκτός απο λεξιλόγιο και γραμματική) και συνδεόμαστε με σχολεία του εξωτερικού για να εφαρμόσουμε όσα ξέρουμε στα αγγλικά με τους μαθητές των ξένων σχολείων. Μας προσφέρει και ανταλλαγή πολιτιστικών και γεωγραφικών γνώσεων, οπότε είναι ενδιαφέρον και συναρπαστικό για όλους! Κυρίως, όμως, μας αφήνει καινούριες φιλίες!
