Last Tuesday, the 2nd of April, together with generous volunteers from our 5th and 6th Graders we celebrated the International Kids’ Book Day, dedicated to Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday! Our students proudly borrowed English fairytales from our Library wishing loudly “HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANS!” and hoping for more english fairytales in the years to come….
Commemorating our connections with the scented island of Chios, our 5th and 6th graders proudly created our own diary with our mascot – the Pella LION- and sent it (via mail) to Chios…Here are their photos when they received our package!! 
OUR 5TH GRADERS PROUDLY PRESENT THEIR CREATIONS CONCERNING CARNIVAL TRADITIONS IN PELLA, MACEDONIA AND GREECE IN GENERAL! THEY SEND THEIR POSTERS AND THEIR VIDEO TO THEIR FELLOW STUDENTS IN PRAGUE, CZECHIA, “ADVENTURE SCHOOL”!!

Commemorating our strong bonds with the scented island of Chios, we initiated our collaboration by exchanging Xmas wish cards via mail! Our transactions carry on during the whole year!

Το δικό μας δέμα περιλαμβάνει:
1) Το αρκουδάκι μας τον Μαστιχούλη, μαζί με ένα ημερολόγιο. Και τα δύο θα τα παίρνει κάθε εβδομάδα ένας μαθητής σου στο σπίτι και θα καταγράφει την καθημερινότητά του και τις σκέψεις του στα Αγγλικά.
2) Υλικό από το Γραφείο Τουρισμού Χίου.
3) Ένα ημερολόγιο του Συλλόγου Γονέων και Κηδεμόνων του σχολείου μας.
4) Θα περιμένουμε το δικό σας ημερολόγιο και την μασκότ.
5) Ξεκινάμε τέλη του μήνα ένα Padlet με κοινές πληροφορίες για τα μέρη μας!

Our 5th Graders created amazing Christmas postcards with the valuable help of their class teacher, Mrs Anastasia Hatzi, wrote their wishes and messages in them, draw wonderful pictures and images…So, their postcards are ready to travel to the scented island of Chios!!(Primary School of Kampochora)
