To eTwinning είναι η κοινότητα των σχολείων της Ευρώπης. Το eTwinning προσφέρει μία ασφαλή πλατφόρμα για το προσωπικό (εκπαιδευτικούς, διευθυντές, βιβλιοθηκάριους κπλ) που εργάζεται σε σχολεία των συμμετεχουσών Ευρωπαϊκών χωρών, προκειμένου να επιικοινωνήσουν, να συνεργαστούν, να αναπτύξουν σχέδια, να μοιραστούν και εν ολίγοις να νιώσουν ότι αποτελούν μέρος της πιο συναρπαστικής μαθησιακής κοινότητας στην Ευρώπη. Το eTwinning συγχρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+, το Ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα για την Εκπαίδευση, την Κατάρτιση, τη Νεολαία και τον Αθλητισμό.
Στο σχολείο υλοποιούνται προγράμματα eTwinning με ποικίλη θεματολογία. Ακολούθως παρουσιάζονται συνοπτικά με πρόοδο ανά έτος:

Μια ακόμη σημαντική διάκριση έλαβε για το έτος 2019-2020 το 5ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο δια μέσω της υπεύθυνης εκπαιδευτικού του προγράμματος eTwinning του σχολείου μας κ. Ειρήνης Παπαζαχαρίου. Αυτούσιο το κείμενο που αφορά στην επιτυχία αυτή παρατίθεται παρακάτω:

The official announcement will be made on the eTwinning.net Portal this week and on other eTwinning and European Commission’s news channels.
What’s next
- You can proudly use the eTwinning School Label (here attached) on your school’s website.
- Shortly, we will send you a package containing some eTwinning materials and of course the eTwinning School plaque.
- You will be invited to participate in the eTwinning Schools’ Group and in the various activities dedicated to eTwinning Schools.
