Ιn this activity students program the BBC micro:bit to switch the LEDs on the display on and off according to the ambient light to save energy. This prototype could be used in automatic city lights, in cars to switch their lights on and off as the light level changes. It could also be used on the back of somebody’s bike saddle to create a rear smart lamp.
This activity is suitable for Junior High School students and Elementary school students.
