Melina Merkouri was a famous Greek actress, singer and politician, often called Greece’s brightest and greatest ambassodor, due to her deep passion for the Greek culture and the return of the Parthenon marbles.
Sha was the first female Minister of Parliament and Culture Minister who campaigned in Greece and Europe for the righteous return of the Marbles to their motherland, championing cultural identity and using her platform to promote Greece’s heritage internationally
