Two laptops in the garbage…

… and their innards….

giving a new look on the treehouse door… Aaaaand…

… connect the battery to the fan, and weeeeeeee…. 😀

Yeap… we’re geeks….

Getting new floorals, while my new murals have to wait a couple of days…

Oh… goody!!! New building materials available!!!!

Ah.. ok, so, who wants to chip in to buy me a shredder? (Chip in, so I can have _that_ in chips… hahahhaha :-PPP)

And, the quiz of the day: which two items DON’T belong to me? :-PPP

Well, told you….

…we’re geeks….

… and we start early on…

Birthday shots, aligned for the unwary… (Ok, we sort of expected those, no? Hahaha)

“Σε αυτό το μπαρ δε μιλάμε για……” LoL, still funny, after all these years!

THEASIS, BABY!!! 😀

Serially!! And in the air, the The Silly Adventures of Mr. Mochi!!!!

😛

Come home. Come home. Come home.”

But not as much as to cover the sound of spoons clicking on plates, and those of the sighs, over the cherry pie, the chocolate tart, the black Vaquitas….

…of the birds singing in the trees overhead, and the distant smell of the sea…

…that is so close….

And, the mucho ruido of the engine, not enough to disturb the naps, and the total abandonment to the waves… 😉

-Someone has to stay on the boat in case it drifts away!!

-Ehm… you know we can just hold the rope so that it won’t? :-PPPPP

(Who’s afraid of the big black fish, big black fish, big black fish?? :-PPPPPP)

(Photo, by Ernesto)

And lunch, away from the noisy people…..

… with the cicadas just keeping tempo…

…the sound of the boat in the water, and the rhythmical tempo of the building of stalactites…

… a taste of an earthly feeling…

(So, how different from the minas de Wanda? :-PPP)

Mucho ruido elsewhere, while here, the wind sings through the odds and bits of the umbrella,…

…where it flaps on the stretched sail…

…. whistles through the top…

…and carries the laughter of the windsurfing lessons along…

Much to learn you still have! :-PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

Not mucho ruido here….

…other than the soundless words that occasionally spring from the page…

“-Well, he is right, you know…”

The small wonders of everyday life!!! But, really? REALLY? It IS a small world after all!! :-PPP (Who would have thought… :-P)

Ah… it floats? And the wonders never stop!!!

And the sun sets over Kvothe and travelling words!! 😉

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!! 😛 Bridge, baby!!!! And the noise, simply diffused in the Infinite Monkey Cage!! 😛

Kavala, baby!!! :-PPP

-Hm… I can’t really remember where the post office is…

-Well, shouldn’t you ask someone, then?

-What do you mean “ask”??? I probably got male genes… :-PP

-ASK!!!

-Well, ok… :-PPPP (I’m female, after all, hahaha)

:-PPP

Mucho ruido, of criss-crossing of steps, chatting and of customs that call our attention!

Hhahaha, seriously… you got to be kidding me, right? (So…. how are we gonna get this thingy, again? :-PPP)

“Everybody can stay at a place where the pool is filled with water. But, who can say that they have stayed in a place, where the pool….

…is filled….

….with the pool toilets??”

;-D

Hey, they’re turning their backs on us?? Hmpf…..

😛

Ah, ok, this bridge is…

…underwater… :-PPPPP

(And yeah, amazingly enough, there are postcards here too….)

“Mom and Dad…” :-PPPPPPPPPPP

Ok, the food, we already knew!! :-PPPP

And the all seeing eyes….

…overseeing all…. and tanto, tanto ruido, hahahahahhahaha

But still, the laughter of three countries,

…and four generations, is carried in tupperware….

Ok, no danger of vampires here….

Yeap… :-PPP

And still, mucho, mucho ruido, but hey, that can very well be ignored, with the green seaweed in the sea, flying in small projectiles, splashing, and playing in the water!! ;-P (Hey, where’s my green hair, then? :-PPPP)

Awwwww… rainbow!!! ;-D

(And, Alan Moore, baby!!! :-PP)

-I’m unbeatable in air hockey! So, do you want an advantage, while we play?

-NO!!! What are you talking about? How am I going to learn if I don’t play against the best?? :-PPPP

(At least I don’t suck at pinball, hahahahhaha :-PPP So great a part of my misspent youth there, ε, κουμπάρε??

Ah… mpougatsa….

And tight spots!!! (Are we there yet? :-PPP)

Thessaloniki, baby!!!

:-PPPPP

And, no…No OD in sugar, yet!!

:-PPPPPP

And yeah… there’s so  much noise, everywhere… but still, some places, some moments, you can protect and make your own music, your own light, claim them as your own and shape them….

And you CAN hear the sound of the sea…

Το κατσαρολάκι του αυτοκινήτου, easy to carry, easy to bang…

-EEE, έλα να δεις!! Έφερε καραβάνα!! Τί έχει μέσα;

-Τίποτα, τί θες να έχει, λες να έφερνα και το φαΐ μου;

-Έχει κανείς ένα μαχαίρι;

-Εχμ… είναι λίγο φονικό εργαλείο αυτό εδώ, ή μου φαίνεται;

-Errare humanum est! @$%()@$%@)

Así está la Cosa

… well spent, and timing (είπε, για το post με την χρονοκαθυστέρηση…

Ι can be annoyingly mean… ;-Ρ

And the bearer of this is entitled to the full extent of its contents…..

😛

… Cause who cares that the storm breaks AFTER you’ve had your fill of sun, fun and friends? Oh, AND food? Timing… enjoy it.. 😀

“Sometimes the most remarkable things seem commonplace. I mean, when you think about it, jet travel is pretty freaking remarkable. You get in a plane, it defies the gravity of an entire planet by exploiting a loophole with air pressure, and it flies across distances that would take months or years to cross by any means of travel

that has been significant for more than a century or three. You hurtle above the earth at enough speed to kill you instantly should you bump into something, and you can only breathe because someone built you a really good tin can that has seams tight enough to hold in a decent amount of air. Hundreds of millions of man-hours of work and struggle and research, blood, sweat, tears, and lives have gone into the history of air travel, and it has totally revolutionized the face of our planet and societies.

But get on any flight in the country, and I absolutely promise you that you will find someone who, in the face of all that incredible achievement, will be willing to complain about the drinks.

The drinks, people.”

There is no end in stories.. stories, are just the beginnings…

-!!!!!!????????!!!!!!!???????????????????????????!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’99
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable
than my own meandering
experience…I will dispense this advice now. Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
imagine. Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday. Do one thing everyday that scares you Sing Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours. Floss Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself. Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, tell me how. Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements. Stretch Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
olds I know still don’t. Get plenty of calcium. Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone. Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe
you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky
chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t
congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own.. Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room. Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them. Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly. Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for
good. Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future. Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young. Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live
in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft. Travel. Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders. Respect your elders. Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out. Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you’re 40, it will
look 85. Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth. But trust me on the sunscreen…

…”like the smell of a flower”… Reflections…

… the tracks of  daily news, lead to violence unjustified and so called vigilantes to whom the right to life…

… and its value, is played upon by colour, and passport…

Morale, morals, morality, in a maelstrom that requires heavy support in order to not be brought down by a whirlpool of events…

… to find a highpoint to look out…

…and break the ice that keeps you held fast into a numb state of acceptance….

Bolted? Find keys, then bolt…

And the constant of images, transgresses time and place… the geography of pain and injustice, in the almost everywhere..

But, even though, the horizon seems to be endless, there actually is a bank on the other side, that you can reach.

If only, upon occasion, you do find the courage to do stick your arms and legs beyond the oppressive rule…

…capture the rainbow over the raging waters…

… and think of the masks in every confrontation….

Sobrevivientes….

…. desaparecidos, but not forgotten

Cause there is always someone to lower the drawbridge for safe conduct…

… and surprise us in the midst of immobility and indifference…

…dancing in circles, from antiquity to Matisse,

… to stall the grim reaper…

… and pass through open gates….

So, tumble, turn things upside down…..
