  • This study is titled “John Chrysostom’s views for education and athletics based on his work: About vanity and how parents must nurture their children”. It is an attempt to approximate the views of St. John Chrysostom, on one hand about the education and on the other about the position of body and athletics, according to the specific work. Thus, through these positions of the great father and teacher of Orthodox Church, an attitude of Orthodoxy about the body and the physical exercise or athletics is also reflected. This is the goal-object of this essay.
