TechGirls is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs initiative. Launched in 2012, the TechGirls program is a four-week, summer exchange designed to empower and support young women (ages 15-17) to pursue higher education and careers in STEM fields through hands-on skills development. The program is administered by Legacy International in partnership with Virginia Tech University, Center for Enhancement of Engineering Diversity.

If they are interested  in being a TechGirl, the Summer 2023 application period is Monday, October 17 at 8:00 AM EDT to Friday, December 16 at 12:00 PM EST. Applications will close on Friday, December 16 at 12:00 PM EST.
