Game’s rules
First of all you need to assign someone the role of “host” or “judge” . This person is responsible for handling the game, specifically he reveals the questions and adds or removes points from the players whenever they answer something right or wrong.
Now the game is playable both in teams and individually. If you decide that all players will play individually you can start by just randomly picking a category or let one of the players pick. When the question of the category and point value is revealed, anyone who wants to answer it must “buzz in”. The first person who “buzzes in” has one chance to answer the question correctly. If he is correct he gets the designated points, if he is wrong he loses those points instead. The person which got the answer correct will get to choose the next category and then again after the question is fully revealed and the “host” has ended reading it everyone has a chance to “buzz in” and claim the points of that question. If you choose to play in teams you can use a variety of different methods. You either give everyone in the team the ability to “buzz in” or you can let the teams choose a “speaker” or “leader” that is the only person who can “buzz in” and represent their team. The choice is up to how they participants want to play the game and they can obviously make small adjustments to make the game operate in a better way. Also the time players have to answer should be around 10 seconds but again it is up to you.
