I am a Phd Candidate in the Department of Economics at the Democritus University of Thrace. I am finishing my Ph.D. in Banking and Finance from the Democritus University of Thrace.

My research and teaching interests include international economics and macroeconomics and banking, the impact of monetary policy on the banking system

Currently, ι am working on the impact of central bank transparency, conventional and unconventional monetary policy, macroeconomic conditions and bank characteristics on bank profitability, bank liquidity and bank vulnerability. My most recent work studies the effects of monetary policy on bank profitability and is due for publication in the near future.
