The Teacher's Nest

Today we waved Mr Jack goodbye and…turned him into a Halloween cake during All Day School. It would be a waste to throw him away anyway.

During the previous lesson class ST’ translated a Halloween pumpkin cake recipe that older pupils had published on our school’s old English magazine some years ago. Then, Anna and Konstantina organized which kid would bring which ingredient to school. The instructions were then written on paper strips in Greek and put in a box.

Baking day arrived (today)! Everything was brought in class according to the girls’ plan but the most basic ingredient brought was everyone’s excitement! Classes ST’ and E’ were the chefs. Each pupils from classes C’ and D’ would draw a piece of paper from the box and act out the instruction. It was the perfect cooperation between the younger and the older pupils!And although they forgot some ingredients they put the main ingredient for a perfect cake: love!

Now We can only wait until tomorrow were we’ll all share it in All Day School.
