Let’s sing!
This is a lovely contribution by an older student of mine, M.K. She forwarded it to me, and now I want to share with you all. It’s a song by the famous band ‘The Beatles’ and it always brings back the sweetest and most amazing school memories … It’s called ‘Yellow submarine’.
Enjoy!

Miss L., what could be more beautiful than the emotions I ‘m feeling at the moment?… What could be more beautiful than this song??? I recall those days… And I am really moved… What can I do to thank you? Thank you because you are still “opoen my eyes”… If there is some way to thank you, tell me, because I don’t know… There isn’t… If you can understand how much makes me happy… Teachers like you, you must know, are the exemplar for some students for ALL THEIR LIFE… ALL… ALL… ALL… FOR EVER… In my opinion, you ‘re teacher even though some of your students have left school… For example, you are still learn ME… I still learn from you… And I still take lessons for the “life”… “Life’s lessons”… You can understand what I’m telling you… And you can understand it because I know you were in my shoes a long time ago… Τhank you very much…………………. What could I do and doesn’t be smaller than your “education”?? Τhank you again………………. We must know, and I want to share my opinion with your students, we are some of the luckyest children in Akrata… Thank god because we are able to have teachers who “fix our brins”, “open our eyes”, “change our hearts” ect……………… Ι love you,
M.K.
P.S. I’m sorry I late, but I were in my village…

Dear M.K.,
I’m afraid your warm words left me speechless…
I can only say one thing to you:
I love you, too!
P.S. A teacher who has had such good-hearted students is the luckiest and happiest of all! 🙂 🙂 🙂
