Before we meet in class:
- Read and listen to “A Greek town: Ioannina (a reading activity)” which you can find at Photodentro (Φωτόδεντρο ) https://photodentro.edu.gr/v/item/ds/8521/6697 . Then answer the questions.
- Study the words at https://content.e-me.edu.gr/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=h5p_embed&id=1257258 as many times as you want.

Visit the following website https://www.visitgreece.gr/mainland/epirus/ioannina/ What is it about? Where can you read it? What type of information do you get? What do you notice about the words in blue colour? What happens when you click on them?
Activity 2
Look at the printed travel guides you have on your desks and the online travel at https://www.visitgreece.gr/mainland/epirus/ioannina/ . Compare the two texts and decide what is the same (S) and what is different (D) and complete the table below:

Study the text about Ioannina in the e-book and then find and write the words under the correct categories. Think and write about things you can do when you visit another town / city. Watch the video to get some ideas!
Then do the collocations activity to learn pairs of words. Now you know the type of words you need to talk and write about a town / city in Greece.
When we get back to the classroom you can ask me or your classmates any questions you might have.

Activity 1
Your partners from the Erasmus+ project are visiting Greece in a few weeks. Work in groups to look for information about your city or some other Greek city and make a short online tourist guide. Make sure each team chooses a different one!
