Reading “The Gingerbread Boy” was fun! We used pantomime to act out the story, wrote our own ending and made an advertisement for the tastiest cookies ever!
Before the Christmas holidays we read the Charles Dickens’ book “A Christmas Carol” and watched the 2009 film with Jim Carrey as Scrooge. As a follow-up we did a variety of activities and made this digital poster using 
We read Julia Donaldson’s “The Gruffalo” and watched the BBC film based on the book.
Next book we read was the all-time classic but always enjoyable “Little Red Riding Hood”. We made a photostory and were inspired to write limericks.
