Piraeus, Greece – The Piraeus Music School is proud to announce its participation in the Erasmus+ program (2025-1-EL01-KA122-SCH-000345707) with the action plan titled “Music gives Unity to Diversity” – Inclusion and Diversity in the fields of education.

From April 19 to April 24, 2026, a delegation of 14 students and 5 teachers will travel from Piraeus to Bialystok, Poland, to collaborate with the VII LICEUM OGOLNOKSZTALCACE. This fully funded initiative uses music as a universal language to foster inclusion and promote European values. Within this framework, participants will also gain a brief insight into the democratic heritage shared by Greece and Poland.

Key Highlights of the Program:

Artistic Collaboration: Students will participate in workshops to record musical performances featuring both Greek and Polish musical heritage.

Social Impact: The project focuses on supporting students with fewer opportunities, enhancing their social skills through creative expression.

Professional Development: Teachers will engage in job shadowing, observing innovative teaching methods, classroom management, and digital tool integration in an international environment.

European Values: The mobility includes lectures on democracy and human rights, strengthening the bond between young European citizens.

This journey represents the Piraeus Music School’s commitment to providing an inclusive, international, and high-quality educational experience for all its students.

The teachers Paraskevi Eftychiadou (English teacher) and Georgia Bouboucheropoulou (French and Economics teacher) of the Music School of Piraeus are eagerly looking forward to participating in a “Job Shadowing” activity at Istituto Comprensivo Monte Rosello Alto, in the city of Sassari, within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, from 18 to 22 May 2026.

This visit represents an important opportunity for the exchange of good practices, becoming acquainted with innovative pedagogical approaches, and strengthening European cooperation between school institutions. Of particular interest is the opportunity to learn about the school’s initiatives regarding inclusion, interdisciplinary teaching, and the use of digital tools in the educational process.

With enthusiasm and a creative spirit, we look forward to this unique experience of collaboration, cultural exchange, and professional development, which is expected to contribute significantly both to our personal growth and to our educational advancement.

Οι εκπαιδευτικοί Ευτυχιάδου Παρασκευή (καθηγήτρια Αγγλικών) και Μπουμπουχεροπούλου Γεωργία (καθηγήτρια Γαλλικών και Οικονομικών) του Μουσικού Σχολείου Πειραιά αναμένουν με ενθουσιασμό να συμμετάσχουν σε δραστηριότητα “Job shadowing” στο Instituto Comprensivo Monte Rosello Alto, στην πόλη Σάσσαρι της Σαρδηνίας, στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Erasmus+, από 18 έως 22 Μαΐου 2026.

Η επίσκεψη αυτή αποτελεί μια σημαντική ευκαιρία ανταλλαγής καλών πρακτικών, γνωριμίας με καινοτόμες παιδαγωγικές προσεγγίσεις και ενίσχυσης της ευρωπαϊκής συνεργασίας μεταξύ σχολικών μονάδων. Ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει η γνωριμία με τις δράσεις του σχολείου σε θέματα συμπερίληψης, διαθεματικής διδασκαλίας και αξιοποίησης ψηφιακών εργαλείων στην εκπαιδευτική διαδικασία.

Με χαρά και δημιουργική διάθεση προσβλέπουμε σε αυτή τη μοναδική εμπειρία συνεργασίας, πολιτισμικής ανταλλαγής και επαγγελματικής εξέλιξης, η οποία αναμένεται να συμβάλει ουσιαστικά τόσο στην προσωπική όσο και στην εκπαιδευτική μας ανάπτυξη.

Καλώς ήρθατε στον διαδικτυακό μας χώρο! Εδώ, στο blog του Μουσικού Σχολείου Πειραιά, καταγράφουμε τις εμπειρίες, τις μελωδίες και τις αναμνήσεις από ένα από τα πιο συναρπαστικά κεφάλαια της σχολικής μας ζωής: τις δράσεις Erasmus+.

Για εμάς, το Erasmus+ δεν είναι απλώς ένα εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα ανταλλαγής. Είναι ένας ζωντανός, δημιουργικός διάλογος χωρίς σύνορα. Αλλά γιατί είναι τόσο σημαντικές αυτές οι δράσεις ειδικά για το δικό μας σχολείο;

Η Αξία του Erasmus+ για το Μουσικό Σχολείο Πειραιά:

• Διεύρυνση Μουσικών Οριζόντων: Οι μαθητές μας έρχονται σε επαφή με διαφορετικές μουσικές παραδόσεις, όργανα και τεχνικές. Συμπράττουν με συμμαθητές τους από την υπόλοιπη Ευρώπη, δημιουργώντας πολυπολιτισμικά μουσικά σύνολα που αποδεικνύουν ότι η τέχνη δεν έχει σύνορα.

Teacher Training in Bologna within the Framework of the Erasmus+ Programme

Within the framework of the implementation of the European programme Erasmus+ Programme, teachers from the Music School of Piraeus participated in a training course entitled:

“ChatGPT and AI for Teachers: Artificial Intelligence in Schools and Education”

The course took place in Bologna from 14 to 20 December 2025.

The training was organized by Erasmus Learning Academy (ELA) and aimed to familiarize teachers with the potential of artificial intelligence in education and the use of innovative digital tools in the teaching and learning process.

The mobility activity was attended by the following teachers from the school:

• Fotini Danou (Historian)
• Maria Fragouli (Music Teacher)
• Antonios Eleftherakis (Teacher of English and Greek Language and Literature)

During the programme, participants attended intensive workshops, presentations, and collaborative activities with educators from various European countries.

Objectives of the Training

The participation of the teachers in the programme aimed to:

• develop skills in the use of artificial intelligence tools in education
• explore digital tools that enhance the learning process
• understand the potential of ChatGPT in teaching practice
• develop innovative teaching approaches
• exchange best practices with educators from other European countries
• strengthen international cooperation and the European dimension of education

Training Content

During the training, participants had the opportunity to:

• learn fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning
• explore the educational applications of ChatGPT
• learn techniques for creating effective prompts
• use AI tools to create interactive educational materials
• discover ways to use artificial intelligence for student assessment and feedback
• discuss issues related to the ethics and safety of artificial intelligence in education

In addition, collaborative activities and exchanges of experiences were organized among teachers from different European countries, promoting intercultural dialogue and cooperation.

Dissemination and Use of the Results

The knowledge and experience gained through participation in the programme will be incorporated into the school’s teaching practices and disseminated within the school community through presentations and training activities for teachers.

Participation in the Erasmus+ programme contributes to strengthening innovation, international cooperation, and the development of teachers’ digital skills, ultimately enhancing the quality of education.

Επιμόρφωση Εκπαιδευτικών στη Μπολόνια στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος Erasmus+

Στο πλαίσιο υλοποίησης του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος Erasmus+, εκπαιδευτικοί του Μουσικού Σχολείου Πειραιά συμμετείχαν σε επιμορφωτικό πρόγραμμα με τίτλο:

«ChatGPT and AI for Teachers: Artificial Intelligence in Schools and Education»

το οποίο πραγματοποιήθηκε στη Μπολόνια της Ιταλίας από τις 14 έως τις 20 Δεκεμβρίου 2025.

Η επιμόρφωση διοργανώθηκε από τον οργανισμό Erasmus Learning Academy (ELA) και είχε ως στόχο την εξοικείωση των εκπαιδευτικών με τις δυνατότητες της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην εκπαίδευση και τη χρήση καινοτόμων ψηφιακών εργαλείων στη διδακτική διαδικασία.

Στην κινητικότητα συμμετείχαν οι εκπαιδευτικοί του σχολείου:

• Φωτεινή Ντάνου (Ιστορικός)

• Μαρία Φραγκούλη (Μουσικός)

• Αντώνιος Ελευθεράκης (Αγγλικής και Ελληνικής Φιλολογίας)

οι οποίοι παρακολούθησαν εντατικά εργαστήρια, παρουσιάσεις και δραστηριότητες συνεργασίας με εκπαιδευτικούς από διάφορες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες.

Στόχοι της επιμόρφωσης

Η συμμετοχή των εκπαιδευτικών στο πρόγραμμα είχε ως βασικούς στόχους:

• την ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων στη χρήση εργαλείων Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην εκπαίδευση
• την αξιοποίηση ψηφιακών εργαλείων για την ενίσχυση της μαθησιακής διαδικασίας
• την κατανόηση των δυνατοτήτων του ChatGPT στη διδακτική πρακτική
• την ανάπτυξη καινοτόμων διδακτικών προσεγγίσεων
• την ανταλλαγή καλών πρακτικών με εκπαιδευτικούς από άλλες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες
• την ενίσχυση της διεθνούς συνεργασίας και της ευρωπαϊκής διάστασης της εκπαίδευσης.

Περιεχόμενο της επιμόρφωσης

Κατά τη διάρκεια της επιμόρφωσης οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν την ευκαιρία να:

• γνωρίσουν βασικές έννοιες της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης και της μηχανικής μάθησης
• εξερευνήσουν τις εφαρμογές του ChatGPT στην εκπαίδευση
• μάθουν τεχνικές δημιουργίας αποτελεσματικών prompts
• αξιοποιήσουν εργαλεία AI για δημιουργία διαδραστικού εκπαιδευτικού υλικού
• γνωρίσουν τρόπους χρήσης της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για αξιολόγηση και ανατροφοδότηση μαθητών
• συζητήσουν ζητήματα ηθικής και ασφάλειας της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης στην εκπαίδευση.

Παράλληλα, πραγματοποιήθηκαν δραστηριότητες συνεργασίας και ανταλλαγής εμπειριών μεταξύ εκπαιδευτικών από διαφορετικές χώρες της Ευρώπης, ενισχύοντας τον διαπολιτισμικό διάλογο και τη συνεργασία.

Αξιοποίηση των αποτελεσμάτων

Οι γνώσεις και οι εμπειρίες που αποκτήθηκαν από τη συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα θα αξιοποιηθούν στη διδακτική πρακτική του σχολείου και θα διαχυθούν στη σχολική κοινότητα μέσω παρουσιάσεων και επιμορφωτικών δράσεων προς τους εκπαιδευτικούς.

Η συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ συμβάλλει στην ενίσχυση της καινοτομίας, της διεθνούς συνεργασίας και της ανάπτυξης ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων των εκπαιδευτικών, προάγοντας τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας της εκπαίδευσης.
