Solve the mystery

Can you find the solution to these mysteries?

1. One Sunday morning, someone stole money from the Smiths family. The police asked the butler, the housemaid, the cook and the gardener, “What did you do that morning?”
April said, “I got the mail.”
Alyssa said, “I did the laundry.”
Reggie said, “I cooked.”
Mark, “I planted flowers in the garden.”
Who stole the money and how did the police know who to arrest?

2. There was a crime in Hyde Park. The main suspect is a man named John Baker. It was said that a man was walking along a path when someone shot him in the stomach. The suspect had brown hair, blue eyes and wore a blue suit just like John Baker’s.
John was asked to tell the story. “Well,” said John, “I was just walking around the park when I saw this man run along the path. Suddenly, a guy came up from behind him and shot him! I ran home as fast as I could.” The policemen asked him to give a description of the murderer. “He had a red moustache, red hair and a blue suit on.”
“I think this man is telling a lie,” said one of the policemen. How did he know?

3. Jack tells Jill, “This isn’t the $5 bill you left on the the table. I found it between pages 15 and 16 of Harry Potter.”
Jill answers, “You’re lying and I can prove it.” How did Jill know?

My favourite myth is about Shinx.
    She had a lion’s body
    and she asked difficult questions
to the people and if they didn’t
    answer right the questions she
    ate them
