At the theatre

Our reporters, Maria A. and George M. tell us about a class visit to the theatre. Photos by Costas L.

On January 14 2013, the fourth and fifth graders of our school went to the theatre to watch “Τρελαντώνης“, a play by Penelope Delta, directed by Sophia Spyratou. The cast included K. Geronikolaou, G. Noussis and Ν. Maistrali. It is a fantastic musical with great choreography and wonderful music. The actors and actresses wear clothes from that period of time. The lighting was bright and the settings were from 1910. The play is about a naughty child, Antonis, who lives with a rich family and is always up to something naughty. But deep inside Antonis is innocent, he realises his mistakes and tries to correct them.

It was a very nice project and a very nice experience. I would love our school to arrange to go back someday on a project by Penelope Delta.
