EKO celebrates another impactful Training Course that was implemented in Aguiar da Beira, Portugal in July 5-10, 2024 as part of the “Go4Green” KA2 small scale partnership project! 🙌🇬🇷 🇮🇹 🇵🇹
🌟 9 participants came together to:

✅ Build community-led climate action 🌍
✅ Learn through sports & nature activities 🏞️
🎯 Activities included:
🌾 Exploring Aguiar da Beira & Viseu 🏙️
🍯 Hands-on honey & cheese making 🧀
🛶 Canoeing at a river beach 🌊
⛪ Visit to Santuário da Lapa ✨
🤝 Meeting the Mayor & local reflections 🗣️

EKO is happy to announce that one more amazing training course has been completed successfully. The mobility was part of the KA2 project “Go 4 Green” and united 9 youth workers from Greece, Italy and Portugal. It was organized by the Portuguese organization Padre Jose Augusto da Fonseca School Group, and took place in Aguiar da Beira, Portugal from 05 to 10 July 2024.
Aims & Objectives of the project
The aim of the Training Course was to promote and strengthen the young population and combat climate change.
More specifically the objectives were:
- Train Youth Technicians (JWs) to develop sports and nature activities that engage young people and communities in promoting environmental sustainability.
- Connect JWs and young people to build transversal skills, fostering active, informed participation in climate action.
- Empower young people to create and lead community initiatives on environmental awareness and action through sports and nature-based activities.
