A Journey Into English

3rd grade -PROJECT – TRAVELLING

Nov 202311

You work at a travel agent’s office and your manager has asked you to prepare an advertising campaign about travel destinations for next year. Work in pairs or in groups of 3.Give a name to your team. Then, choose a city in Greece or abroad, search on the Net, gather all the information you may need and finally create your product.

You can create one of the following:

  • A poster
  • A video
  • A presentation
  • A virtual map

In your final products, you should include the name of the attraction, an image and a short description of it. You should also write the three best things about the city. Moreover, you could put some general information (how to get there, suggested places to visit). You may also add trivia about the place (eg. customs/traditions of the area, famous people who lived there) and anything else you think is interesting for a visitor to know.

After you have created your product, upload it on your class’s padlet .

My name’s Angeliki Polychronopoulou and I have been teaching English in public schools since 2002!

Each academic year is a unique experience for me, as I have been moving from primary education to junior and senior high schools.

I love technology and I attempt to enrich my teaching methods with new tools so that both my students and I don’t get bored!

I feel that teaching is a fulfilling job with several opportunities for creative, innovative, and unique experiences!

In my free time I enjoy watching movies, taking photos and reading books.
