Location
Our school is located in central Greece, in the city of Karditsa, 300 km north of Athens and 230 km south of Thessaloniki.
Students
Our students are between 12 and 15 years old. We have nearly 350 students divided in 14 classes.
School facilities
Leson classes, halls for the teachers, Physics lab, Technology lab, Library, Music/art class, Computer lab, the canteen and the auditorium for the gymnastics.
Curriculum
Our school operates as a pilot school, with the New Curricula, for the third consecutive year. It gives the opportunity to students and teachers to experience creative learning experiences, participating in activities for the implementation and presentation of school programs. Specifically, during the school year 2012-2013 our school implemented twelve (12) projects in the fields of culture, health education and the environment
Projects included innovative approaches to raising student awareness in society and volunteerism, respect for people and the environment, encouraging their creative inclinations, enriching cognitive fields and enhance their self-confidence.
Contests
Some students participate to National contest e.g. Maths, Physics, Informatics, Robotics, Literarure.
