Romania-Gradinita Cu Program Prelungit Nr. 21 Ploiesti – “THE LITTLE ACTORS”

On Wednesday, March 27th, our kindergarten carried out an outdoor activity at Erasmus+ corner. At this activity participated 30 children of 5-6 years-old who played with enthusiasm, roles from a play inspired by a traditional Romanian story called, THE THREE GOAT’S KID” that has an educational value for the children. The story tells of a spoiled baby goat by three goats: mother, aunt and grandmother without whom he refuses to dress, eat and sleep alone.
The students have creatively illustrated the content of the story in a great book they made with fine artwork. In making the book they used various techniques: decorative drawing, painting, applications and clothing.

Estonia – Aruküla Rukkillill Kindergarten – Wonderful outdoor learning at the zoo!

This spring 8 groups, all together about 150 children, of our kindergarten had a very fun day at the ZOO. The largest zoo in Estonia is in Tallinn and it’s almost 80 years old. Tallinn zoo holds the best collection of mountain goats and sheep in the world. There are outstanding number of eagles and vultures and a remarkable collection of owl and crane species.
We had a thematic tour about owls, polar bears and domestic animals, but after that we watched the other animals too. Children listened to the guide and they were very interested of that. At the end of our tour children played a game with the guide and reminded what they learned.
We had a sunny weather outside and children was learning outside the classroom!
