All equal?

Last Monday talking about equality and freedom of all people with the students of C class, we used our coursebook in order to read the lyrics of “If I Had A Hammer”. Then, we watched the following video…

This led us to reading about the story behind the song, which is now considered the 60’s anthem against racism.

Finally, we discussed the situation the song was famous for and drew back on background knowledge of that era in U.S.A.

More songs were suggested, but the most popular of all was John Lennon’s anti-war song.
