Here is a video and a presentation about the Dirty war in Argentina.
The Dirty War, from 1976-1983, was a seven-year campaign by the Argentine government against suspected dissidents and subversives. Many people, both opponents of the government as well as innocent people, were “disappeared” in the middle of the night. They were taken to secret government detention centers where they were tortured and eventually killed. These people are known as “los desaparecidos” or “the disappeared.”

ALL ABOUT SPOOF ADS
Using ads and commercial spots in the lesson plan is an interesting way to challenge and motivate students talk about ads they like and dislike. Students and especialy teenagers love sharing ideas about ads and why not planning their own advertsing campaign.
Talking about spoof ads and the role they play, is a better and more unsual way to introduce the topic of advertising. Students can find out more about this type of advertising and even create their own spoof ad .
