The most original, imaginative and creative robots were built by my young students
in the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos on Wednesday, May 11 as part of the innovative project that we are doing this school year, entitled “Recycling with robots in the place that gave birth to Olympic Values”. This educational activity is implemented under the program “Learning Together ” funded by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation.
With the valuable help of the Art Teacher in the 2nd High School in Amaliada, a painter and an illustrator, Katerina Andreou, students had the opportunity to explore the world of art with their creative imagination and create their own original artifacts, with reference to technology, science and inventions.
The pupils used simple everyday materials such as large packaging cartons, milk cartons and lids, and a lot of excitement, enthusiasm and cooperation!
The young artists of our school felt great satisfaction with the robots that they will use as paper recycling bins in their classes and even gave them names, Ana-Kyklo-Si and Ana-Kyklo-Soulis!
