Radio Days for the 6th grade in
European School Radio
The 6th grade of the 8th Primary School of Pyrgos school is taking part in the eTwinning project “A theatrical World Radio Day on our radio, the European School Radio» in cooperation with 13 schools from Greece and Germany. You can see the Twinning page at http://twinspace.etwinning.net/4087/home
On Friday, February 13, 2015, World Radio Day, from 17:00 to 19:00 he students of the 13 schools are presenting the play “Radio Flights in Time” on the air of European School Radio. Co-host with the children is the …Fonis, a lovely canary which travels through time, sometimes is disguised and, passing from 13 schools, discovers together with students significant moments in the history of radio!

The students of all the schools engaged in the collective creative writing of a story about the history of Greek radio, starting in 1928 and reaching the present day. Then, they turned it into a theatrical dialogue and dramatized it.
Each school dealt with a period of time – in the history of Greek radio. Our school was in charge of the period from 1974 to 1987 and dealt with programmes in A, B and C Rαdio channels, Manos Hadjidakis and of course …… Lillipoupoli.
