Using crosswords and word searches in my EFL classroom has proven to be both effective and engaging. These activities help reinforce vocabulary in a fun and interactive way, allowing students to practice spelling, word recognition, and meaning. They also promote focus, problem-solving skills, and a sense of achievement when completed. Most importantly, learners enjoy the challenge, making vocabulary revision feel more like a game than a task—boosting motivation and participation in every lesson.
