Our school includes pre-primary schools, primary schools and lower secondary schools located in the towns of Laureana di
Borrello, Galatro, Feroleto and Serrata. The Comprehensive Institute is grouped in 12 schools. Our Institute has set itself to
the general purpose of training the pupil, respecting the potential of each one as an individual, as a student and as a person.
Therefore, it promotes the acquisition of critical instruments in order to build everyone’s skills identifying them as future
citizens of the world, thanks to their know-hows and their know how to be. This can produce a significant change in the
value system. It is our task to integrate every student in the culture to which he/she belongs: it is fundamental to us to ensure
that each of our pupils, whatever his/her personal aptitudes may be, is exposed to the linguistic, literary, anthropological,
artistic and religious knowledge. All the teachers and the staff jointly make every effort to meet students’ needs.
We are newcomers and we don’t have experience in Erasmus+ project but we havea a long experience in the
implementation of projects financed by PONFSE or MIUR (our Minister of Education). The projects we have implemented at
our school are aimed to improve active citizenship promoting the governing principles of a civilised and democratic life and
the culture of tolerance and inclusion. Some examples:
