  • Look at the photos and choose one question from Group A (1-4) to tell your partner about it.

  • Then, choose with your partner one of the questions in Group B (a- d) to discuss together. Be prepared to present your ideas to the class.

GROUP A GROUP B
1.   Imagine you know the woman in photo 11 (or the man with the blue cap in photo 8, or the people in photo 10). Tell your partner where she/he was/they were, what she/he was/they were doing when the photo was taken and what she/ he/they did next. a.    Imagine that all the people on this page accompany a magazine article. Discuss with your partner what the article is about.
2.   Imagine you know the people in photo 10. Tell your partner who they are, where they are going and why. b.   Look at the photos on this page. Talk with your partner about which of these means of transport you prefer to use and why.
3.   Imagine you took photos 7 & 12 last weekend. Tell your partner what you did last weekend. c.    Imagine you know the people in photos 8 & 9. Talk about them with your partner (personality, hobbies and interests) and what they did earlier that day.
4.   Imagine you took photo 7. Tell your partner where these people were, what they were doing and how they were feeling when the photo was taken. d.   Look at all the photos on this page. Choose two photos that you think could accompany an article on “Weekend activities for families”. Talk together why you think the phots you have chosen are suitable.
