eTWINNING project : MATH EXPLORERS 2024-2025
Our project is a Mathematics education project covering preschool children aged 3-6. Early childhood is the period when the child’s interaction with his/her environment is most intense and learning occurs most rapidly and actively.
Mathematics education, which is one of the academic skills of the child, is very important as it will also affect other basic education processes.
The aim of the project is to increase children’s interests.
Project objectives
*To enable preschool children to implement their achievements by integrating their mathematical skills with activity types. *Creating pre-school mathematics activities in a suitable environment, developing and implementing them with the right strategy, and making mathematics lessons popular. *Guiding families and children in creating math games with free pieces. *To ensure that children become active explorers outside of school and strengthen their ties with nature. *Strengthening planned events by enriching them with web 2.0
EXPECTED RESULTS
Thanks to this project, children learn the basic building blocks of mathematics and make the process enjoyable with creative and fun activities. They improve their collaboration and problem-solving skills through both individual and group work.
