February’s Newsletter

feb news 2Inspired by the national celebration of the three Hierarchs, the kindergarten planned and implemented activities to enhance kindness among children and their interest in reading and writing. ‘’Malala’s Magic Pencil’’ by Malala Yousafzai, ‘’Have you fill a bucket today?’’ by Carol McCloud, and ‘’Αλφαβητάρι με γλωσσοδέτες’’ by Eugenios Trivizas were the stories that have been used for this thematic. In an extension of that the students participated in small and large group games such as the compliment round, there is a space on my right, I’d like to say thank you to…, letter art with veggies, and if I had a magic pen art and craft project.

Students playing robots, and talking about robotic toys and appliances gavefeb news 3 us the idea to support the class in getting to know more about different categories of robots, their characteristics, and their benefits in people’s lives. Stem activities with loose parts such as building my robot, flashcards with the various types of them, robotic models’ exploration, robots art with shapes, robots movement games, and robots making tea science activity were some of the things that the kids enjoyed during those days.
