Hello everyone ! Today I’d like to talk to you about friendship. Did you know that in some countries people celebrate their friendships by organizing special festivals? In India, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. In Brazil, Friend’s Day is celebrated on 20th July. Americans celebrate Friendship Day on 15th February. In Greece we don’t have a special celebration to honor our friends. Personally, if I had the chance to offer a friendship present to someone, I would choose my friend Mary…
Mary is a very beautiful and energetic woman. She is taller and slimmer than me and has straight brown hair and brown eyes. She likes buying fashionable clothes and shoes. She also smiles a lot and sings beautifully. Her biggest dream is to travel around the world.
By nature Mary is friendly and outgoing, generous and patient. She can also give me good advice when I have a problem. However, Mary also has her shortcomings. She is sometimes unpredictable, absent-minded and gets confused easily… But I still love her !

It seems to me that your friend Mary is a remarkable person. She may be unpredictable sometimes but, since she is friendly and gives good advice, she is OK.
It is nice to have good friends and it would also be nice to celebrate Friendship Day in Greece too.
