The lesson planning was the topic discussed during a series of seminars I organised and realised for the English language teachers in Karditsa and Trikala. During the first seminar we analysed the need for planning our lessons and went on to examine the main parts of a lesson plan. The first seminar included a lecture as well as a workshop where teachers had the opportunity to put theory into practice. The main aim of the second seminar was the implementation of the knowledge gained. The teachers worked on a specific unit of the books they use in junior high schools and prepared their lesson plans.
