UNESCO celebrates World Poetry Day on March 21 and “recognizes in poetry its value as a symbol of the human spirit’s creativity”. This year in Greece, there was a special focus on racism, refugees and humanism as March 21 also  notes the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
