I thought of mingling the Easter with the Christmas images so that a discussion (and revision) of what relates to each holiday can come up naturally as a nice introduction stage to the whole activity. After the pupils have sorted the images out, they can proceed to colouring, cutting and pasting the images on their basket. The activity may finish by having the pupils report what’s in their basket. They can use sentences like:
There is/are … in my basket.
I have got … in my basket.
The lilly is white/yellow etc.
