Once in a lifetime

My story is about human relationships and stresses the importance of true friendship (and familial support, secondarily) in achieving one’s dreams, especially during tough times ( the lockdown period). The main characters are two friends ( Yvonne and Electra) and the story centres on a surprise trip to Paris Yvonne generously offers as a gift to Electra ( her best friend), creating a life-altering opportunity for her to travel abroad for the first time in her life. Therefore, we should always bear in mind that sometimes life may have unexpected changes in store for our friends as long as we are willing to make sacrifices and offer true love within friendship.

The originality of my story is based on the fact that I used real photos e.g. of mine and a friend of mine to play both roles. ( I play Yvonne and my friend acts the role of Electra ). The main digital tool for the creation of my story was BOOKCREATOR but I also used many other digital tools, such as “Canva ai image generator” and “Leonardo ai” , “TTS maker” ( an online text-to-speech tool I used in order to use a different voice for me as Yvonne. My real voice is used in narration and in Electra’s role), “Pixabay” (sound effects) , “Audio Trimmer” ( cutting of mp3 files), “Clideo” ( an online video platform for resizing videos and removing black bars) and the most useful one was “Capcut”, a video editing tool ( conversion of simple images into complete videos with audio files, voiceover and music”)
