“The Treasure Hunt”

“The Treasure Hunt“ is a short story about the adventure a twin sister and brother have had while staying at their grandparents’ farm in the summer. More specifically, while they were in the attic looking for some photos, they found an old box with a map in it. The map was a treasure map and as you can imagine they tried to find the treasure! The treasure turned out to be their mother’s ”treasure” when she was young.

In order to digitalise my story I followed these steps. First I used Pixton to create my images and SoundBible to download some sounds. After that I tried to insert these pictures and sounds into Powtoon but I had to give up because I wasn’t able to have different sounds in different pictures. Then I followed my instructor’s advice to use Photostory3 and everything worked out smoothly. I also wanted to record the dialogues so that it would be accessible to students with special needs but unfortunately I had a terrible cold and I wasn’t able to do so in time.
