Recently revealed in an archaelologic dig in Leicester’s car park, King Richard’s skeleton was identified via DNA examination. Richard III reigned for a short period in medieval England and died in battle in 1485 defeated by Henry VII who inaugurated the Tudor period and put an end to the War of Roses. Now the skeleton is rivalled between Leicester and York.
