As coordinator of Erasmus plus project ROAD: Reveal Other Available Directions, I want to express the feelings of gratitude of all the partnership:13 Teachers and 21 students from Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey greatly welcomed by Greek delegation. The project, started in September 2019, has given to six schools the opportunity to explore inclusive methodologies, to practice formal and non formal education, but above all to share cultures and to acquire values such as friendship, respect for human dignity, rationality, sacrifice, equality, democracy.
We want to thank teachers, students, families, and authorities from Tripolis for the warm hospitality. In particular our thanks go to Mr Basilios Bistolas, headmaster of Music School of Tripolis, for his openess accepting Erasmus projects in his school, for caring of each segment of the institution he represents; special thanks go to Mrs Betty Kouskouli and Mr Sotiris Kostouros, coordinators of ROAD project for Greece, for their precious contribute to the success of the project and for the great job they did to make the mobility in Greece unforgettable; thank you to all the teachers who collaborate to the success of the mobility: all the guest could always count on the help of the staff from the school for any needs; thank you and congratulations to all students, they showed responsibility, good education and great talent.
Last but not least we want to thank Mr Kostas Tzioumis, Major of Tripolis for caring about culture and education and for spending time with us; we want to congratulate for welcoming us in a very beautiful, clean, attractive, well organized town.
We hope our friendship will last forever. We have planted a seed that will sprout and its fruits will be social values that will never wither.
We hope that our project has opened a ROAD between our countries, through which students, teachers, families and, why not, authorities can meet and continue the international dialogue, where differences enrich knowledge.
