Είμαστε οι The Upgravers, μια δυναμική μαθητική ομάδα που δημιουργήθηκε για τη συμμετοχή μας στο μαθητικό συνέδριο και αποτελείται από 55 μαθητές και μαθήτριες της Α΄ και Β΄ Λυκείου του ΔΗΜΩΣ ΓΕΛ Ξάνθης. Με κοινό στόχο τη συνεργασία, τη δημιουργικότητα και την ενεργή μάθηση, χωριστήκαμε σε 10 επιμέρους ομάδες, καθεμία με τον δικό της ρόλο και ευθύνη.
Το κεντρικό θέμα της συμμετοχής μας είναι η αφίσα με τίτλο «Χάρτης – Τα σημεία του Κοιμητηρίου στα οποία βρίσκονται εμβληματικές προσωπικότητες: Το Κοιμητήριο του Περ-Λασαίζ», μέσα από την οποία μελετούμε και χαρτογραφούμε το Κοιμητήριο Περ-Λασαίζ. Ο ιστορικός αυτός χώρος αποτέλεσε και την έμπνευση για το όνομα της ομάδας μας, The UpGravers, καθώς συνδέει τη μνήμη, τη χαρτογράφηση και τη «χάραξη» ιστοριών ανθρώπων που άφησαν το αποτύπωμά τους στον πολιτισμό.
Οι ομάδες μας εργάζονται συντονισμένα στον σχεδιασμό της αφίσας, στη συλλογή και επεξεργασία πληροφοριών, στη σύνταξη άρθρων, στον σχεδιασμό του logo και του site, στη διαχείριση των social media, καθώς και στην οργάνωση της εκπαιδευτικής εκδρομής και του συνεδρίου. Οι The UpGravers πιστεύουμε ότι η γνώση χτίζεται μέσα από τη συνεργασία και τη δημιουργία και ότι κάθε σημείο στον χάρτη μπορεί να γίνει αφορμή για μάθηση και έμπνευση.
Who we are
We are The UpGravers, a dynamic student group created for our participation in the student conference, consisting of 55 students from the 1st and 2nd grades of the Onassis Public Senior High School of Xanthi. With a shared goal of collaboration, creativity, and active learning, we were divided into 10 sub-groups, each with its own role and responsibilities.
The central focus of our participation is a poster entitled “Map – The locations within the cemetery where iconic figures are buried: Père Lachaise Cemetery”, through which we study and map Père Lachaise Cemetery. This historic site also inspired the name of our team, The UpGravers, as it connects memory, mapping, and the “engraving” of the stories of people who left their mark on culture.
Our teams work in a coordinated manner on the design of the poster, the collection and processing of information, the writing of articles, the design of the logo and the website, the management of social media, as well as the organization of the educational trip and the conference. The UpGravers believe that knowledge is built through collaboration and creation, and that every point on the map can become a source of learning and inspiration.
