A Brief History of Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving began in 1621 when Pilgrims in Plymouth celebrated a successful harvest with the Wampanoag people. This first feast symbolized gratitude and cooperation. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared it a national holiday. Today, Thanksgiving is a time for family, food, and giving thanks.
