Erasmus Artificial Intelligence AI4ESL
Το Γυμνάσιο Γενναδίου Ρόδου συμμετέχει ως εταίρος στο σχέδιο με τίτλο «Artificial Intelligence for Early School Leaving» AI4ESL και κωδικό 2021-1-MT01-KA220-SCH-000024247. Συντονιστής είναι ο οργανισμός B&P Emerging Technologies Consultancy Lab Ltd από την Μάλτα.
Συμμετέχουν επίσης εταίροι σχολεία από τη Σερβία, την Ιρλανδία, την Ισπανία και τη Φιλανδία.
Το σχέδιο στοχεύει στην παροχή εξατομικευμένων εκπαιδευτικών προσεγγίσεων που υποστηρίζουν τη συμπερίληψη, την ποικιλομορφία και την ισότητα μέσα από εφαρμογές ψηφιακής μάθησης για όλους τους μαθητές, ανεξαρτήτως φύλου, φυλής, καταγωγής και επιπέδου ακαδημαϊκής επίδοσης. (περισσότερα…)
Gymnasio Gennadiou Erasmus KA229 “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach”
This school year Gymnasio Gennadiou entered Erasmus+ KA229 project “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach”. The project coordinator is Italy, and the partners are from Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria and Croatia. The project duration is 24 months (September 2020 to September 2022).
The project focuses on the development of so-called “STEAM Skills” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) in students. Project activities promote an interdisciplinary approach, which includes disciplines such as computing, mathematics and natural sciences using robotics as a tool to help students develop skills in computational thinking and problem solving. The idea of the “Art and Interculturalism” project was to highlight the importance of all peoples in terms of cultural expression and to emphasize to children from other countries that the culture of the country they left is as important as the culture of the country they live in.
The plan addressed the horizontal priority of inclusion and diversity, because it highlights the cultural identity of all people, and strengthens their pride in their origins.
It is a partnership of schools with a high percentage of pupils from different cultural backgrounds. It includes the Esperino Gymnasio Rodou with 60% of foreigners, mainly first-generation refugees and immigrants, the Gymnasio Gennadiou Rodou with 60% mainly children of economic migrants and the Agrupamento de Escolas de São João da Talha in Portugal with 50% of first and second generation foreign students. Results
1) A practical and innovative Toolkit, a powerful tool answering the needs of target group and stakeholders of developing their skills on how exploit the full potential of Gamification, including multimedia solutions, common challenges, successful approaches and setting out a range of channels for basic skills delivery as well as tools to identify such channels and programmes that may exist already. An inclusive and tailor-made Toolkit about teaching and learning methods, including learning support for struggling adult learners and containing a range of implementation tools.
2) Policy Recommendations regarding the reinforcing of adult and non formal education answering to the main challenges of today’s world taking into account a context marked by rapid technological changes, healthy ageing over the life-course, supportive environments.
Gymnasio Gennadiou ‘Steam and Robotics” Visit to Italy
First mobility of students and teachers as part of the Erasmus+ project KA229 “STEAM and Robotics: a new learning approach” was held in Reggio Calabria, from 26 September to 3 October 2021.Project activities on the first mobility in the IIS “Boccioni-Fermi” secondary school in Reggio Calabria started with the presentation of the partner countries, educational systems and schools participating in the project. The students participated in various workshops dedicated to IT and mathematical skills (programming, video editing, GeoGebra), and the last day was dedicated to the evaluation.
In addition to the educational programme, cultural activities were organised which included excursions to Scilla, a picturesque village near Reggio Calabria
Ιστορίες μεταναστών
Στην εφαρμογή Padlet, έχει δημιουργηθεί παρουσίαση με ιστορίες ατόμων που μετακινήθηκαν σε άλλες χώρες από την χώρα καταγωγής τους. Υπάρχουν ιστορίες παιδιών και ενηλίκων από τη Συρία, το Ιράκ, την Υεμένη, το Αφγανιστάν κ.λ.π.
Οι ιστορίες προέρχονται από επίσημες ιστοσελίδες όπως η UNICEF και ιστοσελίδες εφημερίδων. Υπάρχουν 21 ιστορίες, οι περισσότερες στα Ελληνικά, ενώ 5 είναι στα Αγγλικά.
Β. Εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες
- Ο /Η εκπαιδευτικός ζητάει από τις ομάδες των μαθητών να περιηγηθούν στις ιστορίες και να επιλέξουν μία από όλες. Η κάθε ομάδα μαθητών εξηγεί γιατί επέλεξε την συγκεκριμένη ιστορία. Ανάλογα με την ανθρωπογεωγραφία της τάξης, ο/η εκπαιδευτικός μπορεί να επεκταθεί στο τι συγκίνησε τα μέλη της κάθε ομάδας περισσότερο
Τα δικαιώματα των παιδιών, σύμβαση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών
Στην εφαρμογή Padlet, έχει δημιουργηθεί παρουσίαση με εικόνες που περιλαμβάνουν σύντομες περιγραφές των δικαιωμάτων του παιδιού. Η παρουσίαση περιλαμβάνει
Α) Έγγραφο PDF στα Αγγλικά με τα δικαιώματα των παιδιών στα Αγγλικά σύμφωνα με τη σύμβαση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών.
Β) εικόνες για τα 42 δικαιώματα των παιδιών από το εκπαιδευτικό υλικό της UNICEF.

Β. Εκπαιδευτικές δραστηριότητες
- Ο /Η εκπαιδευτικός ζητάει από τους μαθητές να επιλέξουν τέσσερα δικαιώματα που θεωρούν πολύ σημαντικά. Στη συνέχεια οι μαθητές/τριες χρησιμοποιούν την εικόνα Σπιτάκι που υπάρχει στο Padlet και ενοποιούν τις εικόνες των 4 δικαιωμάτων. Η κάθε ομάδα παρουσιάζει το σπιτάκι της και αν επιθυμεί εξηγεί γιατί επέλεξε τα συγκεκριμένα δικαιώματα
