Dear colleagues,
On Thursday October 10 and Friday October11 2019 I was lucky enough to have taken part in a training workshop on the Use of ICT in support of language teaching and learning (ICT-REV) held in Komotini. The workshop was organized by Mrs Pagona Kioutsouki,Education Coordinator,Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and the ECML ( European Centre for Modern Languages).
The workshop forms part of the ICT-REV project (http://ict-rev.ecml.at/) and was based on materials and tools published as part of this project and also the Developing Online Teaching Skills project (DOTS, http://dots.ecml.at/). In the workshop, we discussed our needs as teachers/teacher trainers, and our training needs regarding the use of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) in the language classroom. We also explored some activities that we could use with our colleagues, reflected on techniques for achieving sustainability of results related to the integration of ICT tools in language teaching, and shared experiences and ideas as teachers and teacher trainers.
Many thanks to the amazing team of trainers mentioned below who were very supportive and motivated us in the best way possible.
