On the occasion of the start of the school year, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the REACT program in collaboration with the UNHCR and funded by the European Union, organized for the second consecutive year the event entitled “REACT goes to school”. The 7th Thessaloniki’s High School participated in the event which took place in the Gardens of Pasha on Tuesday, September 10th, at 11:00 am..
The purpose of the event was to raise the awareness of refugees about compulsory education in Greece. The event included: Children’s Asylum Choir, the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the “Krousmata” Band, Comedians and Clowns. In addition, our little friends were able to participate in various educational activities and receive their school bags.
