Year 2 pupils are taking part in the European eTwinning project “Pete the Cat and His Adventures Around the World.”Through the adventures of their much-loved character, Pete the Cat, the children “travel” to different countries, learn about new cultures and discover the joy of reading.
The project encourages a love of reading in creative ways, including storytelling, art activities, role play and collaboration with partner schools in other countries. Pupils develop their imagination, improve their language skills and build a genuine enthusiasm for books.
With Pete as their guide, every story becomes an opportunity for learning, creativity and communication.
