As part of European Code Week 2024 (EU Code Week), the students of our school are engaging with one of the most famous types of coding, pixel art, by participating in two teams. The goals of these activities are for students to learn how an image is represented in a digital medium and to understand what a pixel is.
The students will learn programming in small steps, discovering the beauty of art by coloring the boxes (pixels) according to the position and color defined in the code. They will practice computational thinking without the use of a computer.
