Albert Einstein was born in Ulm in Germany on 14 March 1879.

He studied physics at Swiss Federal Polytechnic school in Zurich for four years. In 1900 he worked as a mathematician for two months. Then he was awarded the Nobel prize in 1921. He died on 18 April 1955 in Priceton.

Albert Einstein is a very famous person because he developed the theory of general relativity.

We are writing about a foreign country, Ethiopia.

It is in Africa. Its capital is Addis Ababa. Ethiopia shares borders with Djibouti and Somalia in the east, Kenya in the south, Sudan in the west and Eritrea in the north.

The country is mostly mountainous and mountain ranges and the river Nile run through it . It is near the coast of the Red Sea. The biggest lake  of Ethiopia is Tana, but there are also smaller lakes than Tana.

The weather is tropical, with mild temperatures all year long . It rains heavily from June until October. It  is good to go on holidays after this period.

Ethiopia has got orer 75.000.000 people . Some people are very poor,but some other people are very rich. This problem is very big, because the rich people don’ t help the poor.

In our class there is a student from Ethiopia, Maria, who is helping us for this text. In our opinion Ethiopia  is a very exciting country!!!

In our school there are a lot of students from Albania and we are friends with them.This is why we are writing this project.

Albania shares borders with Montenegro, Kosovo, F.Y.R.O.M and Greece. It is located in the N.W. of Greece. The capital city is Tirana.

Albania is a mountainous country but it has got large plains.The highest mountain is Korab(2753m) at Dibra. In the west there is  the Ionian sea.

The weather in Albania is cold in winter and warm in summers. The people of the country eat dradhanik, kurabie, bakllava,ravani and qumeshtore. The people have got a lot of problems. The two  biggest of these are unemployment  and  natural disasters.

This is why we are writing this project. We believe Albania is a beautiful country.

Hello! We live in Akrata and we decided to write about our town.

Akrata is located in the North of  the Peloponnese in the prefecture of  Achaia. The capital of Achaia is Patras. Akrata is  near  Patra.The river Krathis flows across  Akrata. Akrata is near mount Helmos. The weather in our town is cold and wet in winter.

The people of Akrata are polite and good- hearted. The bad thing is that our town  has got a few people because  teenagers leave to get higher education. It has got enviromental problems, such as rubbish collection.

We think that Akrata is a very good town to live.

Our favourite country is France, so we are writing about it.

France borders Belgium, Spain,Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Luxembourg. It is in the north-west of  Europe. Its capital is Paris.

France has got plenty of plains.The Alps run through France. In the north there is the Atlantic ocean. In the south there is the Mediterranean sea.

In summer the weather is hot and dry. In the south  the  weather is mild in winter.  French  cousine is famous. They like vegetables, fruits, meats and poultry like ducks .They have got fantastic  pastries like croissants and tarts .The French  appreciate a good meal.

The sights of France are wonderful. It has got lots of museums. The most interesting are  the Louvre museum and  the Eiffel tower. Last but not least, we want to remind you about  Disneyland!

In our opinion,  France is a very beautiful country with nice sights and with it’s famous cousine. We love France so much!

In this text we are writing about our country, Greece.

Greece is in the south-east of Europe and borders Albania, F.Y.R.O.M., Bulgaria and Turkey.The capital of Greece is Athens.

There’s sea around our country. In the west there’s the Ionian sea and in the east there’s the Aegean sea. Greece is mountainous, that’s why there are lots of rivers. The biggest mountain is Olympus.

In Greece we have hot summers and mild winters.We are known for our olive oil and traditional food like salads, pies, and other healthy food.

There are people from other countries like Albania, who live and work in Greece. Unfortunately, we are having a big problem, a finacial crisis.That’s why many people lose their jobs, become poorer and migrate.

Despite the problems we are trying to have fun!
