We all know that it is important to eat healthily.We also know which kinds of food and drinks are good and which are bad for us. For example, we know we should eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables every day and that we should avoid  junk  food like crisps, chocolate and biscuits.

Unfortunately, young people nowdays do not care about what they eat.Most of them say that, when they can choose their  own meals, they choose fast food, hambugers and chips, and of course soft drinks like coca-cola.

Unfortunately only a small number of teenagers like home-cooked meals. Chocolates, sweets and ice cream,which are all full of sugar, are the favourite snacks of many teenagers.This is a bad habit for teenagers.

Every year we celebrate the Revolution of 1821.This day is about the war of independence of the Greeks against the Turks to win back their freedom.

On 24th and 25th of March we celebrated it, so on 24th the pupils of the 5th grade and the 6th grade held a play about the Revolution.This play had a lot of songs and narratives about this historic event! On 25th of March we went to the church and then we paraded in front of all the inhabitants of our town…Everyone was proud and happy because we honoured the heroes appropriately.

On 15 March our school football team went to the football field for a tournament with other schools of Akrata.

Four teams competed. First, our team  played with the Aigeira team and sadly we lost 2-1. One player of our team got a red card. Then our team lost heart, but at the second match our team went to penalties and won, so we came at 3rd place.

At the end all footballs players were enthusiastic in spite of the result.

A day before 25th of March it was our teacher’s birthday. Everyone in our classroom organized a surprise party for him.

All of the children brought snacks, such as crisps, pop corn, drinks and a birthday cake,of course! We had a nice time.

We played a lot of games like, “Tharos i Alithia” (without kisses) and “Pantomima”. We also danced all together.

This day was the best of this year, because we missed the lesson that day…!
