Skype session with Poland

This year we are working on a project with 15 schools from 13 European countries. And now we are showing you what we did.We did a skype session with  the class from Poland.We talked about their Christmas and our Christmas,and here are the differences and similarities.

POLAND

1) They decorate a tree in the house.

2) For Christmas dinner they eat 12 differents traditional dishes.

3) They sing carols at home after Christmas dinner.

4) They make gingerbread cookies and fruit cake.

5) They go to church.

6) Santa Claus doesn’t  come on Nea Year’s Eve, but he comes on  Christmas Eve.

7) In Zabor there isn’t a big tree in the centre of the town

8) On New Year’s Eve they do parties and throw fireworks.

9) The Christmas holidays last one week

GREECE

1) We decorate tree in our houses!!!

2) For Christmas dinner we eat turkey, salad, tzatziki, potatoes and cheese!!!

3) We sing carols on Christmas Eve morning and New Year’s Eve morning and Epiphane morning!!!

4) We make melomakarona, kourambiedes and diples!!!

5) We go to church!!!

6) Father Christmas comes on New Years Eve!!!

7) In Akrata we decorate a big tree in the center of the town!

8) On New Year’s Eve we eat with our family and we give presents!!!

9) Our Christmas holidays last two weeks


We like  this project , we feel happy.We want to talk again with another country. This project is interesting and we hope you like it.
